I just heard a report on Radio-Canada that the Chef at the Chateau Frontenac Hotel in Québec City is raising Chantecler chickens on the roof of the hotel!
I've heard of chef,s with herb gardens etc. on the roof but this is the first time for hens. It must be just a hobby surely there wouldn't be hens enough on the roof to supply the kitchen with eggs, would there?
