Beautiful chickens and lavender! What variety is the lavender? Though likely it wouldn't do too well here in Winnipeg.
It is English Lavender variety is Hidcote . You certainly have it much colder than here but I think it would depend on the snow cover. This was under several feet of snow last winter or it wouldn't have made it here either.
